Portraits of the Fallen -
By Kaziah Hancock

Portraits of the fallen soldiers are painted free of charge by an artist named Kaziah Hancock for their families as part of Project Compassion. The video below was produced by KARE 11 of Minneapolis/ St. Paul.

This video does not have anything to do with retirement or calculations or hobbies or online jobs. It is just a look at a story about someone wanting to do what she can to help those in need.

Can you imagine the pain that one must feel with the loss of a family member in the struggles of war. It must be horrific. Unfortunately, there have been so many fallen soldiers in Irag and Afghanistan.

Now imagine someone doing something about that pain. Kaziah has an amazing talent and she puts it to use in a fantastic way. She paints portraits of those that have given their lives for their country. As you will see, her paintings provide such a sense of home for the families and it provides Kaziah with a drive and love that is paramount.

Thank you Kaziah for what you do.

Be sure to thank all military personnel for all of their sacrifices.

Video length 5 min 58 sec:

We hope you enjoyed this video. Thank you soldiers.
